II. Schedule design
The event schedule is divided into three phases: project solicitation, project selection, and online finals in Germany, to ensure that the tournament is promoted in an orderly manner and the best of the best is selected.
Project solicitation phase (now - July 1, 2025): open solicitation of high-level talent dual-venture projects in line with the fields of software and information services, integrated circuits, biomedicine, intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, brain-like intelligence and other fields.
Project Selection Phase (July 16th - July 20th, 2025): An expert jury will be organized to give comprehensive scores to the declared projects based on the dimensions of technological innovation, commercial feasibility, team strength, and landing suitability. From all the declared projects, 20 high-quality projects will be selected to enter the finals, and the project teams will be notified by email and SMS.
German Final (July 30, 2025): 2 first prizes (advancement prizes); 3 second prizes (through prizes). The winning projects will participate directly in the Nanjing Grand Final. The format of the competition is: each participant will have 6 minutes to present his/her project PPT on-site, and the judges will ask him/her questions for 4 minutes. The judges will score the projects according to the content of the roadshow and the defense. At the end of the roadshow, scores will be calculated on site and the top five winning projects will be announced. The recommended language for the roadshow is English.
III. Project requirements
1.Project Holder Qualifications: Generally, they should be doctoral degree holders, or professional and technical talents who have served as associate professors or above in renowned overseas universities or research institutions, or who have served in senior positions in internationally renowned enterprises. The core team members of the project shall not exceed 5, and the talents have not yet returned to work full-time or founded a company in Nanjing, or have returned full-time to start a business or be employed in Nanjing but not more than 3 years.
2.Innovative Talent Requirements: Sign a full-time employment contract with a unit in Ningbo after landing, with a monthly salary not lower than a certain standard, and with no less than three years of continuous employment.
3.Entrepreneurial Talent Requirements: Registered enterprises in Ningbo for no more than 3 years, with standardized business operation, good social reputation, no bad records, high growth or innovation, and in line with the development direction of innovative industrial clusters in Nanjing.
4.Priority support recipientsYoung talents under the age of 40, foreign talents, winners of domestic and international dual innovation competitions in cities at or above the sub-provincial level, as well as urgently needed talents engaged in research in the field of key core technology "necklace".
IV. Field of play
1. Software and information services: focusing on cutting-edge technologies and application scenarios such as cloud computing, big data, blockchain, industrial Internet, digital twins, information security, etc., covering basic software research and development, industry digitalization solutions, and innovation of new information service models.
2. Integrated circuits: focusing on key links in the industry chain such as chip design, advanced manufacturing processes, packaging and testing technologies, semiconductor materials and equipment, third-generation semiconductors and other innovative areas such as AI chips and integrated storage and computing chips.
3. Biomedicine: covering innovative drug R&D (small molecule, large molecule, gene therapy, etc.), high-end medical devices, in vitro diagnostic technology, cell and gene therapy, biomedical intelligent manufacturing, intelligent medical services and other fields.
4. Intelligent manufacturing: including industrial robots, intelligent equipment, flexible production lines, industrial automation control systems, intelligent warehousing and logistics systems, as well as new modes of intelligent manufacturing and system integration solutions based on 5G and Internet of Things.
5. Artificial Intelligence: centered around big model technology, computer vision, natural language processing, intelligent sensors, AI chips, intelligent driving, AI + industry applications (e.g. finance, education, healthcare, etc.).
6. Brain-like Intelligence: Focusing on brain-like computing chips, neuromorphic engineering, brain-computer interface technology, cognitive computing models, brain-like intelligent systems and their innovative applications in the fields of intelligent robotics and neurological disease diagnosis and treatment.
V. Incentives for landing projects:
Financial support: If the winning project of the Grand Final actually lands in Nanjing, it can get a landing bonus from RMB 20,000 to RMB 80,000; qualified project holders can directly apply for or preferentially recommend declaring the "Zijinshan Talent Program" and other related policy projects to enjoy financial support and services.
Preferential policies: Eligible winners and project teams will be given priority to enjoy preferential policies such as municipal science and innovation fund support, entrepreneurial counseling, rent reduction and exemption, etc., and can be superimposed on the landing bonus of the municipal competition "Entrepreneurship Jinling".
Preferential services: Eligible winners can be included in the "Zijinshan Excellence Card", enjoying exclusive services such as commuting, medical care and transportation.
