Co-founders Wen Zhiqiang and Wang Qingzhuo come from the same school, both from the Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.Their group has been working in the field of \"industrial microbiology\" for more than 20 years.<\/strong>Having served hundreds of industrialized projects, it is one of the top gathering places for top experts in China. It is reported that talents trained here have founded nearly ten synthetic biology companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what kind of \"black science and technology\" do they have, can get capital favor one after another? The answer lies in the microorganisms that are invisible to the naked eye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their core technology, in a nutshell, is\"Modification\" of a microorganism called \"gas-eating microorganisms\".<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"With our gene-editing technology, these tiny microbes can be transformed into 'super eaters'.\" Wang Qingzhuo visualized the analogy, \"They'Eating' carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide from industrial emissions, but 'spitting' out high-value chemicals<\/strong>. 03 Pilot plant is online<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When cutting-edge technology in the lab hits the ground, what is the market feedback like?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"The 'burdens' that you need to pay to dispose of in other people's eyes are valuable raw materials for production in ours.\" Wang Qingzhuo explained that the company has two business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One is \"Let's build a cafeteria together\" - investing in a factory with the company that produces the exhaust gas, and the other party can take shares and share the long-term benefits; the other is to directly sell \"exclusive recipes \" - to authorize the mature technology process package to customers to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
