On May 29, the 2025 Annual General Meeting of China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance was opened in Nanjing International Expo Center. Luo Junjie, Executive Vice President of China Machinery Industry Federation, Zhu Yanfeng, former Chairman of Dongfeng Motor Group, and Sun Xueliang, Foreign Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered speeches respectively, and the relevant leaders of the First Division of Equipment Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Equipment Industry Development Center of MIIT, and the Nanjing Municipal Government, as well as the relevant office bearers of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the responsible persons of the relevant departments of the Nanjing Municipal Government attended the opening ceremony.
With the theme of "Intelligent, Low Carbon, Globalization", the conference includes one theme summit and six parallel sub-forums.
Focusing on "Solid State Battery Technology Development and Challenges", the summit will systematically share the current development status of the upstream and downstream of the domestic and international solid state battery industry chain, technological innovation achievements and development trends, challenges and enterprise cases.
The parallel sub-forum centers on "the application of lithium battery in low-altitude economy", "AI technology empowers the high-quality development of battery industry", "high-quality development of energy storage battery and safety protection", "new development of advanced materials for power battery", "low-carbon intelligent dismantling and recycling", "intelligent high-speed charging for electric vehicles" and other issues. Liuhe Development Zone and Guolian Automotive Power Battery Research Institute signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the opening ceremony to jointly promote the high-quality development of the power battery industry in Liuhe.
The convening of this conference clarifies the current situation, trends and problems of power battery industry development, and is of great guiding significance for the power battery field to participate in international competition and consolidate its leading position.
