2024年10月25日，全球化与世界城市研究网络（GaWC）对外发布2024 GaWC全球城市排名。在2024年榜单中，全球300多座城市入围，中国共有40多座城市跻身其中。其中，南京位列全球第75位，较2022年提升10位。
The 2024 World Cities Rankings were released by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network (GaWC) on October 25, 2024. In this year’s rankings, over 300 cities worldwide were shortlisted, with more than 40 Chinese cities making the list. Among them, Nanjing ranked 75th globally, climbing 10 places from its position in 2022.
GaWC自2000年以来不定期发布的《世界城市名册》，据该机构官方网站显示，今年的评选数据来自全球175家机构，这些机构为全球785个城市提供现代新兴的生产服务，该排名体现了城市作为世界城市网络中节点的重要性（即促进企业全球化）。
Since its inception in 2000, GaWC has periodically published the World Cities Report. According to GaWC’s official website, this year’s ranking data is sourced from 175 institutions worldwide. These institutions provide modern and emerging production services to 785 cities globally, reflecting the importance of cities as nodes within the global urban network-that is, facilitating enterprise globalization.
根据在全球网络中的位置和能级，GaWC将世界城市分为Alpha（一线）、Beta（二线）、Gamma（三线）、Sufficiency（自给型）四大层级，以表明不同城市在全球化经济中的位置及融入度。
Based on their “connectivity” within four “advanced service” industries—accountancy, advertising, banking/finance, and law, GaWC categorizes world cities into four tiers: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Sufficiency, indicating different levels of positioning and integration of cities within the global economy.

本次榜单中，全球8个Alpha+（世界一线强城市），我国共3个城市入选，分别为中国香港、北京和上海。
广州上榜Alpha（世界一线城市）。
中国台北、深圳为Alpha-（世界一线弱城市）。
成都、天津、杭州、重庆、南京、武汉、厦门、沈阳等17城位列Beta（世界二线城市）级。
In this ranking, there are eight Alpha+ cities (first-tier world cities), including three from China: Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai.Guangzhou is listed as an Alpha city (world-class first-tier city),while Taipei and Shenzhen are classified as Alpha- (weak first-tier world cities).Chengdu, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xiamen, Shenyang, and 9 other cities are ranked in the Beta category (second-tier world city).
报告显示，与往年排名数据相比，中国城市、海湾地区城市以及新加坡的全球连通性显著增长。南京在2018年排名中实现跨级别跃升，从Gamma+（世界三线强城市）升至Beta（世界二线城市），排名首次进入全球前100位。
2018年至今，南京在Beta级城市中排名不断上升。
Compared to previous years, the report indicates a significant increase in global connectivity for Chinese cities, cities in the Gulf regions and Singapore. Nanjing achieved a significant leap in the 2018 rankings, moving up from Gamma+ (strong third-tier world city) to Beta (second-tier world city), entering the top 100 world cities for the first time.Since 2018, Nanjing’s ranking among Beta-level cities has been steadily rising.
目前，南京已与全球200多个国家和地区开展贸易合作，境外投资分布于90多个国家和地区，吸引包括113家世界500强企业在内的超过130个国家和地区的外商来宁投资，已与58 个国家106个城市结为友好城市。
Currently, Nanjing has established trade cooperation with over 200 countries and regions, with foreign investments spread across more than 90 countries and regions. It has attracted investment from over 130 countries and regions, including 113 Fortune Global 500 companies. Nanjing has also formed sister-city relationships with 106 cities in 58 countries.
未来，南京将进一步加强与国际组织、境内外经贸代表机构和知名商协会等资源的互动交流，持续构建完善全球经贸网络，加快步伐链接全球，不断拓宽拓深在全球化经济中的融入度，为服务构建具有世界聚合力的双向开放枢纽贡献南京力量。
Moving forward, Nanjing will further strengthen interactions with international organizations, domestic and foreign economic and trade representative institutions, and renowned business associations. By continuously building and improving its global economic and trade network, Nanjing seeks to accelerate its integration into the global economy for expanded and deepened involvement in globalization, contributing Nanjing’s strength to building a two-way open hub with global cohesion.
