Interconnection, “saving” the future. On the afternoon of March 27, the “Ninggong Product Promotion” and Nanjing Smart Grid Industry Chain Series Activities – Energy Storage Industry Supply and Demand Matchmaking Meeting was successfully held in Jiangning Development Zone. Guided by the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, hosted by the Management Committee of Jiangning Development Zone, and undertaken by Jiangning Economic Development Group, this event is one of the supply and demand docking activities of Nanjing’s “Ninggong Product Promotion, Ten Chains, 100 Fields and Thousands of Enterprises”. Representatives from more than 50 key enterprises, including energy storage demand-side and investment-side enterprises and the Energy Storage Industry Alliance of the Development Zone, participated in the event.
With the theme of promoting the interconnection of the regional energy storage industry, the event aims to create a supply and demand docking exchange platform for energy storage enterprises in Jiangning Development Zone, smooth the docking channels of resource elements, continue to improve the energy storage industry ecosystem, and fully empower the high-quality development of the energy storage industry. As the main agglomeration area of Nanjing’s new energy storage industry, Jiangning Development Zone has gathered more than 90 energy storage enterprises of various types. Among them, there are 35 key enterprises, 20 high-tech enterprises, and 37 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, which have initially formed a full life cycle industrial chain of “energy storage equipment (battery) manufacturing, energy storage system integration, energy storage application scenarios, and battery material recycling”.
At the meeting, Jiangning Economic Development Group introduced the basic situation of the development of the energy storage industry in the park, interpreted the policy provisions on energy storage projects in the “Measures for Promoting Green and Low-carbon Development in Jiangning Development Zone”, and promoted the energy storage industry to be large-scale with real money.
Zhu Junpeng, President of the Provincial Energy Storage Association, introduced the development trend and future prospects of the new energy storage industry, focusing on the interpretation of energy storage policies. China Railway Haotian Holdings, China Communications Urban Investment Energy, Nanjing New Energy Group, Nanjing Metro and other energy storage investment and demand side enterprises conducted roadshows and introductions around investment business and product demand. Supply-side enterprises such as NARI Jibao, Guodian Nanzi, and Jialong Electric actively introduced energy storage products and technologies, and the strong and enthusiastic exchange atmosphere was well received by the participating enterprises.
In the next step, the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology will conscientiously implement the development strategy of a strong industrial city, help the development of enterprises with brand activities such as “Ninggong Product Push” supply and demand docking, promote the deep integration of supply side and demand side, scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, accelerate the creation of a good development atmosphere, and promote the higher-quality development of the energy storage industry.
