After being ranked second on the list of "Top 30 Chemical Parks for High Quality Development in China" for four consecutive years, New Materials Technology Park was honored with the title of "Chemical Park with Innovation Excellence" by virtue of its outstanding innovation performance, which signifies that the park's innovation achievements and development experience have been widely recognized by the industry. Nowadays, the New Material Science and Technology Park has gathered more than one hundred production enterprises including Sinopec, BASF, Celanese and other more than 20 of the world's top 500 and chemical industry top 50 enterprises. The park is centered on two major leading industrial chains of petrochemicals and carbon, and has built five special industrial clusters of epoxy and derivatives, acetic acid and derivatives, high-end special chemicals, synthetic materials, life sciences, etc. The scale of the leading industries, the degree of project agglomeration, the level of safety and environmental protection, and the degree of regional intensification are among the forefront of similar parks nationwide, and the scale of a number of special industries is in a leading position in China and even in the world.
Last year, the investment of 10 billion yuan of Yangzi Yangba light hydrocarbon comprehensive utilization project and Jinling Petrochemical high-end daily chemicals project started construction; Nanjing Chengzhi acrylic value chain project to achieve "the year of construction put into production.
This year, the park is to speed up the pace of construction, boosting the quality and growth of the project. the end of September, the realization of the province and the city of major new projects all started construction, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan of high-end sanitary materials Henghua project from the project to start construction in just over 4 months, refreshing the chemical industry project construction of the "latest speed". Focusing on major national strategies and market demand for accurate investment, as of the end of September, the park has completed a total of 47 signed projects, of which more than 100 million yuan 28 projects, and actively promote new energy materials, specialty chemicals, new chemical materials and a number of high-quality project signing and landing.

In September, the Chemical Park Working Committee of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation unveiled the list of "14th Five-Year Plan" Intelligent Chemical Park Typical Cases, and New Material Science and Technology Park was selected.
In terms of the construction of the intelligent park, the new material science and technology park has realized real-time monitoring and data convergence on security, environmental protection, energy, logistics and other aspects by deploying a situational awareness network covering the whole area, completely opening up the information barriers between various systems, and realizing the seamless flow of data and business synergy across departments and levels.
At the same time, the park also led the establishment of Nanjing Jiangbei New Materials Industry Innovation Alliance. In this year's new materials industry innovation and development conference and the annual meeting of the new materials industry innovation alliance, 12 institutes and enterprises have become new members of the innovation alliance. Up to now, the new materials industry innovation alliance has jointly tackled more than 20 projects, realized the transformation of more than 40 achievements, gathered nearly 1,000 R&D personnel, created a number of high-powered innovation platforms, and significantly enhanced the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain.
