Establish a headquarters for R&D and production
As a national-level technology-based small and medium-sized enterprise, Zhisheng Yougu isAs a pioneer in China’s RNA-based biopesticide industry, the company—backed by a core research team from the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences at the Chinese Academy of Sciences—has grown into a leading player in this niche market.Zhisheng Yougu specializes in the research, development, and commercialization of cutting-edge RNA-based biopesticides. With a full suite of proprietary core technologies, the company is now poised to take a crucial step toward large-scale implementation.
Zhisheng Yougu plans to invest 100 million yuan to establish a biopesticide R&D center, production base, sales center, and headquarters operations management structure in the Agricultural High-Tech Zone.The project is based on RNA interference technology and aims to develop highly effective RNA-based biopesticides for agricultural pests and diseases. Upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 10 tons of dsRNA biopesticides.

In recent years, the Nanjing National Agricultural High-Tech Zone has continued to focus on green and smart agriculture and its leading bio-agriculture industry, accelerating efforts to build an international agricultural science and technology cooperation demonstration zone, a source of agricultural science and technology innovation in the Yangtze River Delta, and a model area for rural revitalization through science and technology. By 2025, eight new smart agriculture application scenarios will be added. In collaboration with the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a demonstration base for smart agriculture fruit and vegetable production will be jointly established. The Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute has been selected for the list of National Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Experimental Demonstration Bases, and Zhongmao Food has been designated as a provincial-level leading agricultural enterprise.
