On June 29, Phase III of Sanzhong Precision Intelligent Equipment (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.—a major provincial project with a total investment of 1 billion yuan—The production project for 150 precision boring and milling machines and large five-sided machining centers per year has officially launched its third expansion phase in Yongyang Subdistrict, Lishui District,Adding another powerful engine to the region’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
San Zhong Precision is a nationally recognized "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" ("Little Giant") enterprise specializing in the assembly and manufacturing of high-end CNC vertical lathes, vertical milling machines, and turning-milling centers. Its products are widely used in the automotive, motorcycle, construction machinery, and wind power industries, and the company maintains close partnerships with world-renowned companies such as Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, and FAW Group.The SZ1600ATC+G vertical grinding machine, jointly developed by the company and the Qingdao Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully broken the foreign technological monopoly.
“Yongyang’s favorable policies and business environment are the reasons why companies continue to choose to expand their production,” said Li Yan, the company’s deputy general manager. She noted that since relocating from Kunshan to Yongyang in 2020, the company has rapidly completed construction of Phases I and II and commenced production, with a total output value of 250 million yuan last year.The additional investment of 1 billion yuan in this third-phase project demonstrates the company’s confidence in continuing to deepen its development in Lishui.
This Phase III expansion project is located east of Qinyin Avenue and south of the Jinghong Kaiyuan Hotel, with plans to construct new high-standard factory buildings and ancillary facilities totaling 37,000 square meters. The project will primarily focus on the production of five-sided machining centers and precision boring and milling machines. It is expected to be completed in September 2027, with an annual output value of approximately 350 million yuan once full production capacity is reached.
As the core hub of Lishui’s national-level CNC machine tool industry, Yongyang Subdistrict was selected as a national-level specialty industrial cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises in 2025. It has established a full-chain industrial ecosystem encompassing R&D, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service, and has created a 10-minute industrial support zone. By the end of 2025, the park had attracted 70 enterprises specializing in complete machine tools, functional components, and supporting services, forming a comprehensive industrial matrix with an annual output value of 4.3 billion yuan.
