The key project of Yangzhou section of North-Yanjiang High-speed Railway was finished, and the girder erection construction was speeded up again.On the evening of May 31, Yizheng North Girder Yard of Yangzhou section of North-Yanjiang High-speed Railway successfully completed the prefabrication task of 826 bays of simply-supported box girders, which laid the foundation for the subsequent erection of girders and track-laying construction.
Located in Yizheng Yuetang Town, the girder yard covers an area of 188 acres and is equipped with 9 girder making bays and 52 double-deck girder storage bays, with average daily girder making of up to 3 bays at peak time. The design speed of the North Yanjiang High Speed Railway is 350 kilometers per hour, which will connect Shanghai, Nanjing, Hefei and other cities and accelerate the linkage of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster after the commissioning of the railway.
