The Phantom of AestheticsPlum and Tea Together

The integration of tea and plum, ancient. confluence effectIntercropping systems have many benefits

Fu Jiabian Plum and Tea Intercropping and Tea Culture System is an agricultural system centered on the composite cultivation of tea trees and fruit plums, tea-making process and tea culture. The system of intercropping cultivation planting mode in the landscape value, production value shows "1 +1 > 2" integration effect. The "Mei Xiang Tea" produced in the park is sweet, delicate and fresh with unique aroma, presenting distinctive ecological and humanistic landscape characteristics. Biodiversity in the tea plantation adopting intercropping mode increases, significantly improves the regional microclimate, realizes the enhancement of the overall resilience of the system, and promotes balanced and sustainable development. During the dry season, the plum shades the tea from direct sunlight to reduce leaf transpiration and conserve water and moisture; during the rainy season, the root system of the plum alleviates soil erosion caused by surface runoff. In the intercropping mode of tea plantation with forest belt, the average wind speed within 25 times the tree height can be reduced by 38%, the temperature difference between day and night is reduced, and the frost-free period is prolonged. Moderate shading can improve the photosynthetic efficiency of tea trees, which can increase the yield by more than 10%, and the amino acids in tea leaves can be increased by more than 34.8%. Good plant communities provide suitable habitat for various wild animals, especially birds, and promote the formation of relatively stable biological chain, which can inhibit pests and diseases, and is conducive to the increase of tea production and quality.
